Dr. Molly Bodendorfer is a passionate and dedicated orthodontist at Discover Orthodontics. Her journey into orthodontics was deeply influenced by her personal experience with her own orthodontic journey as a child. Witnessing the transformative power of a healthy smile, she was inspired to pursue a career where she could contribute to boosting the confidence and well-being of patients of all ages. Dr. Molly considers her job to be the best in the world, cherishing the daily opportunities to connect with her patients and help them achieve the smile of their dreams! Dr. Molly and her husband, Blake, met in college and have a beautiful family together which includes their lovely daughter Logan, their wonderful son Lee, and their cherished 13 lb chihuahua mix, Bailey. She was adopted from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria and has been a constant companion, joining Dr. Molly on bike rides in DC, Chicago, and Omaha in his K9 Sportsac backpack. Dr. Molly and her family chose Omaha as their home due to the immediate sense of acceptance, inclusivity, and strong community support. In the few years since their move, they’ve built friendships that feel like family while actively participating in the local community. Regulars at Lauritzen Gardens, Fontenelle Forest, Gene Leahy + Heartland Park, the family also enjoys coffee walks around Old Market, savoring delicious meals at Inner Rail, and biking across the Bob Kerry bridge. When she isn’t in the office, you can find Dr. Molly traveling with her family, reading, hiking, downhill skiing, biking, running with friends, winter puzzling, picnicking, and indulging in her passion for art and playing the guitar! Her adventurous spirit is evident in the memorable hikes she has undertaken with her husband, including Koko Head in Hawaii and the Inca Trail hike to Machu Picchu in Peru. Always on the lookout for new experiences, Dr. Molly loves trying new foods, activities, and meeting new people. Whether it’s local recommendations, travel advice, or food suggestions, she is enthusiastic about sharing her insights and discovering more about the world around her.
